Description
The Baiken Mosque was established at the initiative of Kazakhstan’s First President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and named after Baiken Ashimov, a prominent statesman and Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR. Its construction reflects a commitment to blending Kazakhstan's Islamic heritage with contemporary architectural practices.
